Product Overview

PT D80/300/17.Tube Furnace features high alumina ceramic tube with SS304 sealing flanges, heated by MoSi2 rods, Tmax 1700 degree C (1500C under high vacuum level). Microprocessor-based self-tuning PID provides excellent control with no overshooting and +/- 1 °C accuracy. Max vacuum level could be reached to 10E-5 torr with molecular vacuum pump. The tubular furnace is mainly used in vacuum and/or atmosphere protection sintering, vacuum film coating, CVD experiments and physical components testing for rare earth preparation, electronic lighting, crystal annealing, biological ceramics, electronic ceramics, special alloy, magnetic material, precision casting and metal heat treatment. 1700C Ceramic tube furnace is an ideal tool for laboratory daily use.

Safety Measures

 

  • Built-in ammeter and dual voltmeters for easy monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Overheat protection shuts down the furnace if temperature is outside of acceptable range (refer to controller’s manual) or when the thermocouple is broken or malfunctions.
  • Power failure protection resumes furnace operation right after the point of failure when power is reestablished.
  • Microprocessor based self-tuning PID control provides optimum thermal process with minimal overshoot

  • High alumina ceramic insulation, CNC engraving, chamber walls coupling tightly, U type MoSi2 heator, temperature resistant up to 1800C

Application Notes

 

  • The processing tube pressure should be lower 0.02MPa
  • Gas source should equip the pressure reducing valve
  • Before filling reduction gases like H2, should pump the air out of the tube
  • When filling gases from gas inlet in the tube, should make sure the gas outlet valve open
